Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Server Repair Tech to test, troubleshoot, and replace parts on servers sent for diagnosis and repair. You will inspect and diagnose servers, replace faulty components, and document all findings in the shop floor system.

The role emphasizes collaboration with motherboard repair, testing, QC, and inspection teams, while maintaining parts consumption and supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year repair/depot experience preferred.
• Able to read and write English.
• Experience with LCD/HDD replacements across multiple brands.
• Familiarity with models such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, Acer.
• Proficient with basic MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to organize and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, diagnose servers and replace parts as needed.
• Conduct and analyze server stress tests.
• Document symptoms, test results, and parts replaced.
• Collaborate with motherboard repair, testing, QC and inspections personnel.
• Provide backup support for QC, inspection and motherboard testing.
• Maintain parts consumption and stock levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
