Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Server Repair Tech to test, diagnose, and replace parts on servers sent for repair in Grapevine, TX. The role emphasizes inspecting and diagnosing servers, performing part replacements, and documenting results to support quality control and ongoing maintenance.

You'll work with team members across warehouse and shipping to ensure timely repairs, while applying basic server architecture knowledge and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and improve uptime.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year experience in a repair depot.
• Must read and write English.
• Experience with simple/repetitive component replacement such as LCD/HDD.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose servers.
• Replace parts as needed.
• Conduct and analyze server stress tests.
• Document symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool.
• Collaborate with QC, motherboard testing, inspections personnel.
• Provide back up for QC and testing teams.
• Maintain parts consumption.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
