Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Server Chipset Power Engineer in multiple locations across the U.S. We seek deep expertise in power modeling for server SoCs, with a focus on performance, energy efficiency, and thermal management.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop models and optimize hardware/software to meet KPIs. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, plus advanced degrees in EE/CE/CS.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in hardware/software engineering or related.
• Master’s degree and 7+ years in hardware/software engineering or related.
• PhD and 6+ years in hardware/software engineering or related.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end power modeling framework for server use cases.
• Perform tradeoff analysis for workloads and identify gaps to meet KPIs.
• Collaborate with IP, SoC and Platform teams to optimize power/thermal KPIs.
• Draft technical documentation and communicate results to top engineers.
