Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Server Power Management Architect in Santa Clara, CA, to lead the end-to-end power management for a server-class SoC.

This role requires deep expertise in CPU/SoC power design, PMIC interaction, and thermal considerations for data-center scale devices. You will collaborate with HW, SW and FW teams to drive a high-performance, energy-efficient architecture, model system power, and specify power rails and sequencing.

Qualifications

• Experience in power management of CPU/SoC designs.
• Strong fundamentals in digital ASIC design and CMOS power.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with power delivery systems and PMICs is a plus.
• Familiarity with hyperscale data center power architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with chip HW/SW/FW teams to define end-to-end power management architecture.
• Develop system-level power models for server use cases and trade-off analysis.
• Define SoC and board power grid definitions and rail sequencing.
• Work with thermal engineers to optimize implementation and performance.
• Create detailed architecture specification documents.
• Partner with architects to enable scalable server power solutions.
