Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an SoC Performance Architect to lead server workload analysis, performance modeling, and optimization across hardware and software.

You will evaluate SoC products, build analytical models, and project performance for internal and competitive platforms. The role requires deep CPU microarchitecture knowledge, OS/compiler awareness, and hands-on profiling experience in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture and SoC interconnects.
• Experience with Linux environments and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define performance methodologies, metrics, and KPI frameworks.
• Conduct hardware/software sensitivity studies and bottleneck analysis.
• Use profiling and PMU tools to capture hotspots and CPI breakdowns.
• Build analytical and empirical models for workload behavior.
• Develop performance projections for internal roadmap products.
• Communicate findings and optimization guidance to stakeholders.
