Job summary

The Club at Twin Lakes in Allentown, PA is seeking enthusiastic Servers to provide prompt food and beverage service, upsell menu items, and create a guest-friendly atmosphere. You will work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, taking orders, serving meals, and handling payments with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
• Willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers; be a team player.
• Basic knowledge of Beer, Wine and Spirits; familiar with menu items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Must demonstrate the ability to upsell and drive revenue.
• Minimum of 3 years serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and making sound decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cordial behavior.
• Flexible working hours; open 7 days a week (daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Requires standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 pounds; bending/reaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous food & beverage service to guests while maximizing sales volume.
• Provide superior table service to guests in accordance with established standards.
• Ensure customer requests are completed in a courteous manner.
• Maintain clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and aesthetics.
• Interact verbally with all guests, creating a service oriented and upbeat atmosphere.
• Complete all payment transactions according to standard.
• Complete all side-work according to standard.
• Clean and re-set tables according to standard.
• Notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired customers.
• Responsible for checking IDs of all guests when in question, and not serving guests with no valid ID.
• Complies with all established F&B standards.
• Must be able to suspend service to intoxicated individuals in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management
