Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous food & beverage service to guests while maximizing sales volume. Must upsell food and beverage items.
• Provide superior table service to guests in accordance with established standards.
• Ensure customer requests are completed in a courteous manner based on our standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and aesthetic standards.
• Interact verbally with all guests, creating a service oriented and upbeat atmosphere.
• Complete all payment transactions according to standard.
• Complete all side-work according to standard.
• Clean and re-set tables according to standard.
• Notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired customers.
• Check IDs of all guests when in question, and not serving guests with no valid ID.
• Comply with all established F&B standards.
• Suspend service to intoxicated individuals in accordance with Delaware law.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years serving experience in a high‑volume restaurant or bar
• Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and in making sound decisions
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and cordial behavior

• Must complete state specific (Delaware) TIPS or comparable training
