Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Sterling, IL is hiring servers (front-of-house team members) to deliver high-energy, guest-focused service in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell menu items, and ensure accuracy in payments while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements include at least 21 years old, alcohol-service certification, and prior experience in customer service, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Greet Guests and create a welcoming, upbeat experience
• Excellent verbal communication and interaction skills to serve BWW Guests and create a personalized experience
• Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail; ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Recommend menu items, beverages, and promotions
• Deliver food and drinks while ensuring quality and satisfaction
• Check in with Guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit

• Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by federal and state laws, and BWW policies and guidelines

• Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail; ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle money accurately
• Basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems
• Conflict management skills, analytical skills, and a high degree of emotional intelligence to recognize and solve guest problems
• Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by federal and state laws, and BWW policies and guidelines
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in restaurant environment

Education / Experience
