Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States is hiring seasonal Front of House staff for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. You will welcome guests, take orders, and help deliver the Experience of a Lifetime in a mountain resort environment.

Training and growth opportunities are provided, with a focus on hospitality, teamwork, and safety. Starting wage ranges from $12.14 to $16.04 per hour, with tipped positions guaranteed at least $20/hour including tips; full-time and part-time shifts are available.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required.
• Desire to learn and grow.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers.
• Share our passion for the mountains during service.
• Follow the leadership’s guidelines outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting.
• Develop knowledge of all menu items to make recommendations to guests.
• Operate a point-of-sale system to enter orders properly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstations throughout and at the end of the workday.
• Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional + location dependent).
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is $12.14/hr - $16.04/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
