Job summary

Vail Resorts in Crested Butte, CO, is seeking fun and adventurous individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. You will deliver an Experience of a Lifetime for our guests by living our core values: Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, and Have Fun.

Training provided; housing may be available; starting wage is posted; enjoy a dynamic mountain environment and employee perks.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers
• Share our passion for the mountains during service
• Follow the leadership’s guidelines outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting
• Develop knowledge of all menu items to make recommendations to guests
• Operate a point-of-sale system to enter orders properly
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstations throughout and at the end of the workday
• Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional + location dependent)
• Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $12.14/hr - $16.04/hr
• If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of tips
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Requirements

• We will teach you all the necessary skills to be able to execute your job safely, no formal experience is necessary
• Desire to learn and grow
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, to bend, lift, and carry objects up to 40lbs

The expected pay range is $12.14/hr - $16.04/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

We follow all federal, state, and local laws including restrictions on child/minor labor. Minors hired into this position will not be asked or permitted to engage in any activities restricted to adult workers.
