Job summary

Vail Resorts in Colorado is hiring for winter 2026/27 across multiple roles in Front of House and kitchen departments. Seasonal positions include full-time and part-time shifts with shifts posted from the start of the season.

Starting wage ranges from $12.14 to $16.04 per hour, with tipped positions guaranteed at least $20/hour including tips. Employees receive Epic benefits, free ski passes for staff, discounts on lodging and gear, and access to training and development programs.

Qualifications

• We will teach you all the necessary skills to perform your job safely.
• Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic mountain environment.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers.
• Share our passion for the mountains during service.
• Follow leadership guidelines outlined in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Develop knowledge of all menu items to make recommendations to guests.
• Operate a point-of-sale system to enter orders properly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation throughout and at day end.
• Ski/Snowboard after work (optional, location dependent).
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is$12.14/hr - $16.04/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
