Job summary

Vail Resorts in Crested Butte seeks friendly Front of House team members for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. You’ll engage guests, learn the menu, and operate the POS while delivering an Experience of a Lifetime with excellent service and teamwork.

Training is provided and growth opportunities abound. Starting wages range from $12.14 to $16.04 per hour, with tipped roles potentially earning a minimum of $20/hour including tips.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers.
• Share our passion for the mountains during service.
• Follow the leadership’s guidelines outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting.
• Develop knowledge of all menu items to make recommendations to guests.
• Operate a point-of-sale system to enter orders properly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation throughout and at the end of the workday.
• Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional; location dependent).
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is $12.14/hr - $16.04/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
