Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf is hiring a Server to provide prompt and courteous service in the restaurant, bar, and patio. Reports to the Food & Beverage Manager. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

The role offers an hourly rate of $16.90 plus tips. Full-time team members receive medical, dental and life insurance plans after 60 days, 120 hours PTO per year, 7 paid holidays, and eligibility for the 401(k) plan after 30 days of service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three months’ related server experience preferred.
• Must meet state/federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to understand and implement dining standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide hospitality with knowledge of the resort facilities.
• Write orders; relay food orders to the kitchen and beverage orders to the bartender.
• Serve and clear tables following service etiquette and procedures.
• Interact with guests to ensure all needs are met and provide excellent service.
