Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking an IT Operations Technician to support a wide range of IT systems in the MFG/Corp environment. You will build and rack servers, connect them to networks, and document changes.

The role requires 2–4+ years in IT, VMware Hypervisor experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Visa sponsorship is not provided. A high school diploma or associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associate degree is preferred.
• 2-4+ years of IT-related experience.
• VMware Hypervisor configuration experience.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with server builds and rack/stack tasks.
• Procure server parts from the warehouse.
• Build and maintain physical servers and network connections.
• Install rails, rack servers, and manage cabling.
• Perform server burn-in tests and hardware upgrades as directed.
• Create and manage support tickets (IP/SNOW).
• Document server builds and SOPs; log changes.
