ZT Systems is seeking a Senior Staff MFG IT Systems Engineer to lead and manage on‑prem and cloud infrastructure, emphasizing Linux/Windows platforms, virtualization, and automation. You will drive high availability, storage optimization, and service discovery with HashiCorp tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS with 8+ years enterprise IT experience
• Public cloud experience and APIs
• 8+ years Linux and VMware experience; vSphere, vMotion
• 4+ years DevOps; Python required
• 4+ years Ansible; 4+ years storage experience with NFS/SMB/CIFS
• Active Directory architecture knowledge
• Security best practices knowledge
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows servers across on‑prem and cloud.
• Manage hypervisors (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM) and storage for performance and resilience.
• Design and operate Consul, Nomad, Vault, and Boundary in production.
• Standardize configuration with Ansible and Terraform for code-based infra.
• Build automation using Python and YAML; develop scripts and playbooks.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and plan server migrations.
• Document processes, designs, and incident logs.
