Job Title: Server (Front‑of‑House Team Member)
Location: 3220 East Empire - Bloomington, IL 61704
Salary: $9.00 - $18.00 hourly

What You’ll Do
  • Greet guests and create a welcoming, upbeat experience.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Recommend menu items, beverages, and promotions.
  • Deliver food and drinks while ensuring quality and satisfaction.
  • Check in with guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
  • Process payments and handle transactions accurately.
  • Work closely with your team to keep the dining room running smoothly.
  • Apply knowledge of RAS (Responsible Alcohol Service) procedures.
  • Exhibit conflict‑management, analytical skills, and a high degree of emotional intelligence to recognize and solve guest problems.
  • Maintain time management and organization with excellent attention to detail and follow company objectives.
Qualifications
  • Superior customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interaction skills for personalized guest experience.
  • Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures.
  • Knowledge of BWW food and beverage menu; ability to make suggestions and up‑sell.

  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle money accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems.
  • Conflict‑management skills, analytical skills, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Knowledge of RAS procedures as defined by federal and state laws, and BWW policies.
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant environment.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Minimum 21 years of age.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working as a server or in a customer service role, ideally in a high‑volume full‑service restaurant.
