Overview
As a Server/Bartender you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent and memorable dining experience of our guests, cash handling, and serving craft cocktails and other highly curated alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We are looking for a fun & outgoing, 'people person' who enjoys interacting with others. When working as a Bartender, you will earn $10/hr plus tips. When working as a Server, you will earn $6/hr plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding guest service and create a welcoming dining atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and state regulations.
- Suggest, promote, and upsell menu items, beverages, and specialty cocktails.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring order accuracy.
- Check on guests throughout their dining experience and resolve concerns in a professional manner.
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage selections.
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, property amenities, and local attractions.
- Assist with clearing, resetting, and maintaining dining and bar areas.
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing side work, including cleaning and restocking duties.
- Ensure bar and dining areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and company policies and procedures.
- Communicate guest concerns, service issues, and operational needs to management.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 1 year of bartending experience required
- ServSafe certification and ABL Alcohol License preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for long periods of time
- Warm and engaging personality with good communication and interpersonal skills, especially verbal, with guests, co-workers, management, and other parties
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, issues, co-workers and guests in stressful situations and take responsibility in a professional manner
- Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
