Overview
As a Server/Bartender you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent and memorable dining experience for our guests, cash handling, and serving craft cocktails and other highly curated alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages. We are looking for a fun & outgoing people person who enjoys interacting with others. This individual must be hard‑working and motivated to provide quality service and products with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests, take orders for cocktails and food while up‑selling/recommending items, serve food & beverage orders promptly and courteously, address any guest concerns or issues, and process payments accurately using the POS system
- Assist with clearing and setting tables, ensuring a prompt turnaround for the next guests
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our entire food menu, including raw ingredients and preparation techniques
- Complete assigned opening and closing side‑work, including deep‑cleaning tasks, to maintain cleanliness and organization – including setting up and breaking down the bar operations accurately and efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Alcohol Beverage License (ABL) required
- Bartending experience required
- Availability to work mixed shifts 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have some experience in food & beverage, preferably bartending
- Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment, and stand for long periods of time
- Warm and engaging personality with good communication and interpersonal skills, especially verbal, with guests, co‑workers, management, and other parties
- Projects a favorable image of the property to the public at all times by following the property’s grooming and dress standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, issues, co‑workers and guests in stressful situations and take responsibility in a professional manner
- Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
