Job summary

Scarpetta Pizzeria is seeking an energetic Server to deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced, fine dining setting. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell items, and ensure timely service while collaborating with kitchen staff to maintain high sanitation and food safety standards.

This part-time role requires weekend availability and the ability to handle cash and guest inquiries with a focus on hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
• Culinary experience or background in food handling and preparation is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling and guest engagement strategies.
• Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and basic math for cash handling and transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time
