Kiawah Island Club on Kiawah Island seeks a Server Assistant to serve as a hospitality ambassador in a fast-paced club restaurant. The role requires welcoming guests with warmth and grace, supporting lunch and dinner service, and maintaining knowledge of menu and beverages.

A customer-service mindset and reliable transportation are essential. Weekend and weekday availability is required; prior experience in food and beverage is preferred, and a professional image is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and food & beverage operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Arrives at work on time for scheduled shifts in uniform and excited to provide hospitality.
• Maintain understanding of table numbers, seat positions, and service flow for FOH positions.
• Coordinate with management to guide guests to their tables accurately.
• Develop knowledge of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails.
• Keep menu and beverage knowledge current as menus evolve.
• Communicate effectively with guests and teammates to deliver accurate messaging.
• Derive pleasure from providing hospitality and pride in a first-class team.
