Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking an enthusiastic server to welcome and attend to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The role runs shifts from early morning to early afternoon with the potential for varied hours and tips supplementation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 21 years of age to mix and serve alcohol.
• Past serving experience required.
• Certification of alcohol awareness program preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be able to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• All areas are kept clean and immaculate.
• Knowledge of menu and beverage offerings essential.
• Must be articulate and able to speak before large groups.
• Ensure guest happiness in your section.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities and hours of operation.
• Know all menu items, specials, and beverages.
• Understand table numbers, setup, and dress code.
• Be a positive team player and thorough.
• Support daily prep and table maintenance; assist teammates.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment while remaining professional.
• Uphold resort policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
