Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Server Assistant at Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX. You will assist servers, stock stations, maintain clean tables and uniform appearance, and ensure proper beverage and food service.

The role requires English communication, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays. Cross-training opportunities are available within the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English with guests, members and co-workers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of appearance and wear uniform and name tag.
• Provide outstanding service to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Bus tables and stock supplies, keep ice and station clean.
• Transport prepared food from kitchen to floor in a timely manner.
• Ensure items are dated and discarded when expired.
• Cross train among other restaurant positions and attend trainings.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and beverage offerings.
