Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Server Assistant at Blind Salamander for Barton Creek Resort & Spa. You will maintain high personal appearance standards, assist servers, stock and wipe down areas, and transport prepared food from kitchen to floor.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
• Good communication in English with guests and staff.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of appearance and wearing uniform and name tag.
• Provide outstanding service to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Wipe down service trays with sanitizer water daily.
• Bus tables and stock supplies for side stations.
• Transport prepared food from kitchen to floor promptly.
• Ensure beverages and items are fresh and properly dated.
• Set tables with clean linen, china, silverware and glassware.
• Inspect and clean coffee/beverage machines and dishware.
• Assist servers during operating hours to meet demand.
• Cross-train among other restaurant positions.
• Attend department trainings and meetings.
