Job summary

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is seeking a banquet server to ensure top-notch food and beverage service for functions, uphold Omni's standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role emphasizes teamwork and meticulous attention to detail in a luxury hotel setting.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet stations, following BEOs, attending pre-meal meetings, and maintaining clean, polished presentation.

Qualifications

• Previous serving and guest service experience required.
• Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certifications or obtain upon hire.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork-oriented and positive attitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform Banquet side work as designated by Banquet Captain/leadership.
• Meet service standards and ensure timely delivery of service.
• Maintain presentation of banquet functions (linens, chairs, floors, walls, windows, lighting, centerpieces, condiments).
• Attend to guest needs during functions and related duties.
• Report to Banquet Manager any housekeeping or equipment repairs needed.
• Adhere to liquor liability laws and attend pre-meal meetings.
• Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) details.
• Set tables to specifications, carry trays, and provide excellent customer service.
• Complete banquet consumption sheets as directed.
• Attend department trainings and other company-required sessions.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
