Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico in Bahia Beach is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional guest experiences through expert knowledge of our menu and preparation methods. You will guide guests, relay orders to the kitchen, and ensure timely service in a luxury setting.

Fluency in English and Spanish, previous server experience, and strong interpersonal skills are required. The role offers full-time hours, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits in a renowned resort

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a server role, preferably in a resort or high-end dining establishment.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with menus, food items, and beverages, including cocktails and coffee drinks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering vivid descriptions and origins, tastes, and preparation methods; communicate orders to the kitchen; coordinate timings; verify orders and transport to table.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions; respond promptly to concerns and requests.
• Properly close guest checks; process cash and card payments; settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
