Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Puerto Rico is seeking a Server Assistant to support the server team and ensure a smoothly run dining experience. You will clear and reset tables, assist with service preparation, and respond quickly to guest needs with professional discretion.

The role requires at least one year of food and beverage service experience, and your English and Spanish language proficiency will help you connect with guests from around the world.

Qualifications

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and service the owner and guest’s needs before requests are necessary.
• Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
• Provide water throughout the meal to guests.
• Carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
• Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.
• Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
