Job summary

Four Seasons in Atlanta is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Food & Beverage assistant to support servers and ensure smooth dining experiences for guests. You’ll help with setting tables, stocking service ware, and attending to guest requests with poise and attention to detail.

The role requires at least one year in food service and a high school education or equivalent. Training opportunities and employee perks are part of the package.

• Experience: Minimum one year food service or related work.
• Skills: Ability to carry and balance a tray.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition.
• Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary.
• Preparation of condiment and garnish items.
• Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen using a tray and safely transporting it to guest, as well as removal of items from the guest’s table. Keeping the table neat and clean, coordinate service with Server.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

About the role

Assist food servers with the serving of food, set-up and clearing of china, glass, and silver from service as well as attend to guest needs and requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition. (10%)
• Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary. (10%)
• Preparation of condiment and garnish items. (10%)

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Moving tables and chairs.
• Buffet setup and breakdown
