Job summary

The Inn at Little Washington in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains invites you to join our Front of House team in an entry-level role. You will support the Dining Room, maintain service areas, and assist with delivering food from the kitchen to guests.

We seek candidates who are at least 16, well-groomed, and reliable, with the ability to communicate in English; multilingual abilities (Spanish or French) are a plus. Training and growth opportunities abound in our award-winning restaurant.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be well-groomed and well-presented.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with Forbes Standards.
• Ability to communicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French.
• Certification in alcohol awareness program.
• Certification in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room standards and etiquette.
• Polishing/distributing all types of glasses and silverware.
• Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers.
• Able to clear/set/reset a table.
• Delivers food from the kitchen to the guests.
• Ability to present a table side service of Cesar Salad.
• Location/Retrieval of Ice.
• Assists with side work and cleaning before, during, and after each shift.

SUMMARY
