Job summary

Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA is seeking a friendly server assistant to buss, reset, and support table service in a fast-paced resort setting. You will keep stations clean, assist with running food, and provide courteous service to guests, helping ensure a smooth dining experience.

The role requires a WA Food Handler Card, the ability to work mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays, and strong communication under pressure. Elevate guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• WA Food Handler Card required (we can help).
• Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Bus, clean, and reset tables promptly; notify the host when seating is ready.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked tables and service stations using clean-as-you-go.
• Provide water to guests on seating and deliver prompt, courteous service.
• Assist servers by running food and beverages; support overall table service.
• Complete all pre-shift and side work, including rolling silverware.
• Deliver dishes and unload trays; keep the dish pit clean and organized.
• Know daily specials and menu offerings.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

• Busses, cleans, and resets tables promptly, notifying the host when tables are ready for seating.
• Maintains clean, organized, and fully stocked tables and service stations by practicing “clean as you go” techniques.
• Provides water to guests upon seating and delivers prompt, polite, and courteous service.
• Assists servers by running food and beverages and supporting overall table service as needed.
• Completes all assigned pre-shift and side work, including rolling silverware.
• Delivers dishes and unloads trays in the dish machine area while keeping the dish pit clean and organized.
• Maintains knowledge of daily specials and menu offerings.
