Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a friendly restaurant server for Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA. You will take guest drink and food orders, suggest items, and deliver attentive service in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include 1+ year restaurant experience, knowledge of wine/beer/cocktails, and WA State Food Handler Card with MAST certification (or ability to obtain). Weekend/holiday availability encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Take the guest's drink and food order, answer all menu questions, making helpful suggestions, and citing a favorite item
• Review the menu and become thoroughly familiar with all items and means of preparation being offered that day, including ingredients, preparation, sauces, and garnishes as well as the wine list
• Practice "clean as you go" techniques of service, including refolding napkins and cleaning between courses, and keeping the station clean, neat, and supplied at all times
• Greets and ensures all guests are provided with water after being seated - Anticipates guests' needs
• Closes all guest checks in a timely manner, ensuring all checks are properly signed and printed
• Check with the manager for the assigned station. Ensure the station is properly set up and clean
• Complete assigned side work and reset tables for the next meal function
