Job summary

The Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, VA seeks experienced Server Assistants to support its Food & Beverage operations at a premier private club.

Part-time, Tue–Sun, 4:00 PM–10:30 PM (3–5 shifts, ~15–25 hours/week). Base pay $16.00/hour. Responsibilities include delivering food, coordinating with staff, keeping service areas clean, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. Professional appearance, strong communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment are valued.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a food runner, busser, or in a support role in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver food efficiently and accurately from kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper plate placement and presentation standards
• Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and culinary staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Support the expo line by organizing and checking orders before they are run to guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and expediting stations
• Respond quickly and professionally to server or guest requests during service
• Ensure guest satisfaction by handling plates with care and urgency

The Country Club of Virginia is seeking experienced and service-focused Server Assistants to join its Food & Beverage operations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a premier hospitality operation!

Schedule:

Part-time, Tuesday-Sunday (4:00 PM-10:30 PM), 3-5 shifts a week, approximately 15-25 hours per week.
