Job summary

The Inn at Little Washington is hiring for an entry-level Front of House position focused on daily operations to deliver a 5-Star, 5-Diamond, 3-Michelin Star experience to all guests. You will maintain all aspects of the service areas and serve as a supportive member of the Dining Room team.

Ideal candidates will possess an eye for etiquette, strong organization, and a willingness to learn in a high-end hospitality environment with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos
• Reliable transportation
• Familiarity with Forbes Standards
• Ability to communicate in a language other than English (prefer Spanish or French)
• Certification in alcohol awareness program
• CPR certification
• Prior experience with Resorts-related platforms (Resortsuite) and Tock

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room standards and etiquette.
• Polish, sort, and distribute glasses and silverware; identify glassware and silverware types.
• Strip linens daily and prepare for service.
• Know table numbers and seating arrangements.
• Clear/set/reset tables for breakfast, tea, and dinner.
• Assist with garden setup/breakdown and seasonal fire-pit tasks.
• Manage flowers storage and setup/breakdown.
• Retrieve ice and maintain ice supply.
• Reset tables to pristine condition; keep WS4 organized.
• Understand property layout and location of rooms.
• Adhere to Forbes Travel Guide standards.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Expediently and withgreat skill performs polishing/sorting/distributing all types of glasses andsilverware/Ability to identify various types of glassware and silverware
• Recognizes alllinens and folds for all shifts. Strip linens daily for service
• Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers
• Able to clear/set/reset a table(Breakfast/Tea/Dinner)
• Knowledge of garden setup/breakdown (includingfire-pit seasonally)
• Storage of flowers and setup/breakdown
• Location and retrieval ofIce/ will routinely refill ice
• Can properly break downdishes in wait station #4

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
