Job Description
The Server Assistant supports the service team by maintaining the flow of the dining room, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring seamless, attentive service. This fast-paced, guest-focused, team-oriented role requires awareness and a polished presence. Assistant Servers uphold the La Boca standard by executing behind-the-scenes service that enhances guest experience.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $17.00 plus tips.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
2. Refill water glasses and beverages proactively.
3. Clear plates, glassware, and silverware efficiently and discreetly.
4. Keep tables clean and organized during service.
5. Reset tables quickly after guest departure.
6. Maintain fully stocked and clean service stations and side work areas.
7. Respond immediately to spills or hazards to keep the floor clean.
8. Monitor guest cues and assist with special requests.
9. Communicate clearly with team members including servers, runners, hosts, and kitchen staff.
10. Attend pre-shift meetings and stay informed on menu updates and specials.
11. Support opening and closing duties of the service team.
12. Uphold Faena standards in appearance, demeanor, and service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in high-end or high-volume dining preferred.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and anticipate team needs.
• Friendly and composed under pressure.
• Food Handler Certification required or obtainable before start.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
