Job summary

Motek, a Mediterranean concept restaurant and part of the Happy Corner Hospitality collective, is seeking a Server Assistant to join the team in Miami Beach. You will help keep the restaurant clean, restock stations, run food from expo to tables, and support the service team to provide attentive, seamless service.

Required: at least 1 year in a busser role in a fast-paced restaurant, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant; minimum 1 year in a busser role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with running food from expo station to the appropriate tables.
• Ensure tables and restaurant is clean at all times.
• Restocking service station with napkins, plates, silverware, etc as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members.

Position Overview:

As a Server Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of delivering an outstanding dining experience. You’ll help keep the restaurant clean and organized, restock service stations, assist with food and drink running, and support the service team in providing attentive, seamless service to our guests.
