Motek, part of Happy Corner Hospitality collective, seeks a Server Assistant in New York, NY to join our Mediterranean restaurant team. You will help keep the dining area clean, restock service stations, assist with running food and drinks, and support the service staff in delivering attentive service to guests.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience as a server assistant/busser or food runner, strong multitasking and communication skills, and a commitment to hygiene.

Position Overview

As a Server Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of delivering an outstanding dining experience. You’ll help keep the restaurant clean and organized, restock service stations, assist with food and drink running, and support the service team in providing attentive, seamless service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist with running food from expo station to the appropriate tables.
Ensure tables and restaurant is clean at all times.
Restocking service station with napkins, plates, silverware, cleaning supplies, etc as needed.
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members.

Requirements

Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant; minimum 1 years in a server assistant, busser or food runner role.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
