Job summary

The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio at Hersheypark is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to help maintain a neat dining room and guest service area, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will support servers, greet guests, and assist with service tasks in a lively year-round venue with chocolate-inspired touches.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Part-time availability, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of dining areas and restrooms.
• Assist servers and staff to ensure smooth guest flow and service.
• Greet guests, answer questions, and provide helpful information.
• Restock dining and service areas with clean dishes, utensils, and supplies.
• Inspect guest restrooms and maintain stock and sanitation levels.
• Support with food running and secondary service as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Join the team at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio, a year round, full service restaurant located at Hersheypark. The Chocolatier serves up family fare with a fun spin, and hints of chocolate for lunch and dinner. The space features past and present pieces from the Hersheypark ride collection, one-of-a-kind views of neighboring attractions, and a second-story patio and bar. The Chocolatier celebrates the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, by continuing to bring people together for happiness, fun, and of course, chocolate.

This position is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly dining room and the guest service area, as well as assisting the service staff to ensure the guest's expectations are exceeded.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Maintain the restaurant’s sanitation standards by cleaning spills in the kitchen and dining areas, and sanitizing tables, chairs, and booths between guest seatings.*


• Clean tables and remove dishes after the party leaves.*


• Complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets by cleaning assigned areas at appropriate times.*


• Work with restaurant staff to create a positive dining experience for guests. · Respond promptly to guest needs and concerns.*


• Ensure availability of clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws, napkins, and other dining materials.*


• Assisting servers in restocking all dining and service areas, cleaning and resetting tables*


• Inspect guest bathrooms on a regular basis throughout shift, clean bathrooms, and maintain stock and sanitation.*


• Greet customers and answer questions.*


• Assist with food running and secondary service as needed


• Perform other duties as assigned.
