Job summary

Lake Placid Lodge in Whiteface, NY is seeking a friendly Server to join our team. You will greet guests, deliver attentive service, know our menu, and uphold SOPs while maintaining a professional appearance.

This role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays; previous hospitality experience is a plus, and strong phone etiquette helps in taking accurate messages. Equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely manner with a professional friendly tone
• Provide attentive, efficient, friendly service following our SOP's
• Willing to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
• Complete all opening side work to prepare yourself for the shift
• Complete all closing side work at end of shift
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Responsible for personal hygiene, grooming, clean uniform, and professional appearance
• Responsible for punctuality when reporting to work, and clocking in only after being in full uniform
• Maintains cleanliness of all dining and patio areas
