Dockside Pub Swampscott is seeking an experienced server to join our team. The ideal candidate has 2 years of server experience and thrives in a fast-paced setting while delivering excellent guest experiences.

You will greet guests, take orders, upsell beverages, handle payments, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. A professional demeanor and urgency in responding to guest needs are essential in this role.

• Exhibit selling techniques with proper knowledge, and service delivery of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Utilize silent service approach and maintain a clean environment.
• Itemize bills correctly and secure payment as required.
• Bid guests farewell by using guest’s name when known, and inviting them to come back.
• Answer telephones in service areas.
• Maintain high level of professionalism that will attract guests to want to return to the property.
• Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.

Dockside Pub Swampscott is looking for a Server with 2 years of experience and who enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Servers consistently provide an excellent guest experience to every single person who comes into Dockside Pub Swampscott.

Job Duties:

• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and make them feel at home.
• Exhibit selling techniques with proper knowledge, and service delivery of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Utilize silent service approach and maintain a clean environment.
• Itemize bills correctly and secure payment as required.
• Bid guests farewell by using guest’s name when known, and inviting them to come back.
• Replace inserts, clean menu covers, and maintain professional appearance of the area.
• Answer telephones in service areas.
• Maintain clean environment.
• Maintain high level of professionalism that will attract guests to want to return to the property.
• Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.
• Performs other job related responsibilities when assigned.
• Direct calls where necessary.
