Job summary

American Social in Miami is seeking energetic hospitality staff to greet guests and guide them through the dining experience. You will describe and sell menu items, deliver orders, and ensure a positive guest interaction from arrival to checkout.

Candidates should be fluent in English, able to work late-night hours, and maintain service standards with teamwork and attention to detail. Food handling certification is a plus, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced venue.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 to serve liquor.
• Willingness to work late night shifts (midnight–3am).
• Food handling certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Guide guests through beverage and food ordering, offering menu descriptions and upsell opportunities.
• Deliver beverages and food efficiently while maintaining a positive guest experience.
• Close guest experience by processing payments and inviting guests to return.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, stations, and dining room; stock supplies as needed.
• Support both FOH and BOH priorities and collaborate with team members.

• Cleans and prepares tables for new guests
• Supports restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping a clean and organized environment

• Flexible to assist in other departments as requested
• Works well under pressure
• Follows the direction of the Managers on duty

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
