Job Role
Responsible for providing exceptional service to hotel restaurant guests, maintaining dining standards, and ensuring a positive guest experience from seating to payment.
Responsibilities
Greets and seats guests, presents menus, and explains daily specials. Answers menu questions and makes recommendations. Accurately takes and enters orders for food and beverages, relays orders to kitchen, and serves food promptly and efficiently. Monitors guest satisfaction throughout service, resolves issues with professionalism, and maintains a clean and organized dining area. Processes payments, prepares checks, and handles cash/credit transactions securely. Adheres to safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
Supportive Functions
May assist with clearing tables, restocking supplies, folding napkins, and cleaning spills. Helps team members with side work and other duties as requested by supervisor. Ensures floor safety and a clutter-free workspace.
Requirements
Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced environment preferred. Excellent communication and guest service skills. Ability to stand and move continuously, lift up to 25 lbs, and multitask under pressure. Knowledge of point-of-sale systems, menu items, and dietary needs. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
