Job summary

Hilton Dallas Park Cities is seeking a Houseperson-Housekeeping to join its team in Dallas. The role assists in deep cleaning guest rooms by moving furniture and cleaning specific areas, supporting a premium hospitality experience in a distinguished Park Cities hotel.

The position is Full Time-Non-Exempt with benefits including health and life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and staff discounts. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and staff.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• General cleans guest rooms by moving furniture and cleaning areas such as edging carpets, washing inside windows, checking drapes, scrubbing bathroom floors, inspecting with a black-light, changing shower curtains, vacuuming.
• Rotates mattresses on a quarterly basis.
• Runs daily room status report.
• Charts all daily activities on progress chart

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English with guests and staff as is necessary to effectively work within the department.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach on a continuous basis up to an 8-hour shift
