Job summary

Toogie's Table is seeking a Server to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will greet guests, manage reservations, seat guests, and help maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.

The role emphasizes hospitality, positive attitude, and 1 year of customer service experience, with opportunities to collaborate with management and front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of restaurant standards.
• Experience in a food-service environment preferred.
• Must maintain a positive attitude and high guest-service orientation.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in to the reservation system.
• Demonstrate hospitality during every guest interaction.
• Assign guests to tables using the reservation system.
• Assist with cleaning and resetting tables during high-volume times.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to review service information and VIPs.
• Engage with guests while they wait to create a welcoming environment.
• Perform opening and closing duties in a timely and thorough manner.
• Answer guest questions about restaurant history, wait times, etc.
• Document guest recovery situations and communicate with management.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed and support team members.
• Handle other duties as assigned by management.

Toogie's Table is hiring for a Server.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guest as they arrive; checking guests in to reservation system.
• Demonstrate genuine hospitality during every interaction with our guests.
• Assign guests to tables using the reservation system.
• Assist with cleaning and resetting tables as needed during high volume times.
• Attend pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIP's, Specials.
• Engaging with guests while they are waiting for their table to create a welcoming environment.
• Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
• Answer guest questions about restaurant history, current wait times, etc.
• Maintain a positive guest experience with effective communication of all guest recovery situations while documenting such occurrences to the MOD.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or instructed by management.
• Assist and support team members, as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Bar Manager, FOH Managers, General Manager, or Corporate Office.
• Consistent productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrates knowledge and ability to execute restaurant standards.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
