Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests, reading, and listening to people to determine beverage preference, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Demonstrate genuine hospitality during every interaction with our guests; including greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, answering questions, thanking guests, and inviting them to return upon their departure.
• Abide by all State and Federal Liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Attend pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIP's, Specials.
• Handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintaining a clean working environment, cleaning bar, tables, washing glasses and equipment.
• Record drink order accurately into POS system.
• Prepare the following before and during service; fruit, syrups, garnishes, glassware, bar equipment, and all other preparation tasks instructed by Beverage Manager, FOH Manager or General Manager.
• Upsell drink and food items at the bar.
• Respond promptly to guest requests in a polite and professional manner.
• Arrange glasses and bottles into attractive and functional display.
• Answer guest questions about food and beverage preparation details and communicate specific guest needs to the kitchen and bar.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or instructed by management.
• Consistently productive.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of standard drink recipes.
• 1 Year of Restaurant Bartending Experience.
• 1 Year of customer service experience.
