Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a self-motivated SERDES Micro Architect to drive the definition of next-generation SERDES IPs for Apple silicon, enabling breakthroughs in power and performance across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.

You will define micro-architecture for analog mixed-signal IPs, review firmware and circuits, and collaborate with silicon evaluation and design verification teams to ensure performance. Lead system bring-up debugging and work with SI engineers to specify requirements.

Qualifications

• BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the micro architecture of analog mixed-signal IPs with emphasis on SERDES design.
• Review firmware code, analog and digital circuits and verify that the design meets performance requirements.
• Collaborate with silicon evaluation and design verification teams to define expected behavior.
• Lead the debug effort in system bring up and factory test.
• Coordinate with signal integrity engineers to determine system requirements.
