Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, seeks an experienced SERDES Micro Architect to define the analog mixed-signal IP micro-architecture for the next generation of Apple silicon IPs, delivering breakthrough power and performance for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.

You will review firmware, analog and digital circuits, verify performance, and work with silicon evaluation and design verification teams to define expected behavior.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed SERDES design and configurations.
• Experience with analog/digital circuit review and validation.

Responsibilities

• Define the Micro Architecture of analog mixed-signal IPs with emphasis on SERDES design.
• Review firmware code, analog and digital circuits and verify performance requirements.
• Collaborate with silicon evaluation and design verification teams to define expected behavior.
• Lead the debug effort in system bring up and factory test with SI engineers.
