Apple, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated SERDES Micro Architect to define next-generation analog mixed-signal IPs for Apple silicon, delivering high-performance, power-efficient SERDES blocks across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.

You will review firmware, analog and digital circuits to ensure performance targets are met. You will lead the debug effort during system bring-up, work with silicon evaluation and design verification teams, and collaborate with signal integrity engineers to meet

Qualifications

• BS degree required with 10+ years in industry
• Proven leadership in defining SERDES receivers/transmitters and clocking blocks
• Strong understanding of adaptation/optimization algorithms and information theory
• Familiarity with mixed-signal modeling in Python/MATLAB/C/C++
• Experience with firmware or embedded software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Define the micro-architecture of analog mixed-signal SERDES IPs for next-generation Apple silicon
• Review firmware code and analog/digital circuits to ensure performance requirements are met
• Lead debugging during system bring-up and factory test
• Collaborate with silicon evaluation and design verification teams to define expected behavior
• Coordinate with signal integrity engineers to determine system requirements
