Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a remote-based technical expert in the United States to support customers with separation equipment. You will identify reliable solutions, engage with customers, and partner with Service Sales to expand value-added services across regions.

You will train staff and customers on products, troubleshoot complex issues, and promote Alfa Laval solutions while traveling up to 40% to support field activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of rotating equipment or related industrial equipment experience.
• Strong product knowledge and/or application experience with decanter centrifuges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Serve as SME for separation equipment products and applications.
• Collaborate with Service Sales and Field Service to drive rollout of value-added services.
• Visit and interact with customers, presenting product value propositions and solutions.
• Cluster training for specific products and applications for Alfa Laval employees, channels and customers.
• Act as local champion during the launch of new service products and be a visible technical expert.
