EAB seeks an SEO & AI Visibility Specialist to grow organic traffic for higher education clients and enhance AI-driven discovery across search engines and platforms. The role blends traditional SEO with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to keep content competitive and discoverable.

Based in Richmond, VA or Washington, DC, you will audit, research keywords and prompts, advise partners, and translate insights into actionable recommendations while evolving EAB’s optimization discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information technology, communications or related field.
• 2 years of SEO experience with a solid grasp of SEO principles.
• Working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio.
• Strong communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to distill data into strategy.

Responsabilités

• Compile and synthesize data from reporting platforms to evaluate performance and communicate impact to higher education partners.
• Develop and guide SEO and GEO strategies aligned to partner goals, focusing on technical performance and discoverability.
• Provide targeted recommendations to improve crawlability, indexation, structured data, and content for search engines and AI discovery.
• Perform keyword and prompt research to inform on-page optimization and content strategy.
• Leverage analytics to interpret SEO and AI visibility performance and inform partner decisions.
• Stay current on SEO and AI trends, adopting new tools and best practices for the team.
