Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Program Manager 1 for the Sentinel program leadership team on a 100% on-site role in Promontory, UT. You will oversee development, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion systems while guiding matrixed teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a STEM or Business degree with government contract experience, EVMS familiarity, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Excellent stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business with 5 years' experience supporting US government contracts.
• Two+ years' experience in Program or Project Management, or team lead.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve a single objective.
• Familiarity with EVMS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support continued development, manufacturing and test of new propulsion motors for Sentinel program.
• Provide leadership to matrixed and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Manage program deliverables and contractor interfaces to meet schedule and cost targets.
• Coordinate with program IPT and other leads to ensure quality and technical execution.
• Identify and resolve risks, drive continuous improvement, and communicate with stakeholders.
