Job summary

Northrop Grumman is recruiting for a Program Manager 3 in Promontory, UT to lead the Sentinel SRM EMD program on-site. You will oversee technical, financial, and contractual performance, lead cross-functional teams, and interact with customers and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, experience managing complex rocket motor programs, and the ability to maintain schedules, budgets, and compliance under government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years’ experience supporting US Government contracts.
• 5+ years’ experience leading tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as PM/IPL or CAM.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment to achieve a single objective.
• Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with ability to solve issues and predict risks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs across safety, quality, schedule, technical requirements, and cost.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to program managers and cross-functional team members.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to align capabilities with needs.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and Earned Value Management to monitor performance.
• Balance customer, Northrop Grumman, and employees’ interests in program decisions.
• Chair the Configuration Control Board and the IP Board for the Sentinel SRM EMD program.
• Forecast financial performance and assist in contract negotiations with partners.
